Elevate every meal with plant-based tortillas made from simple, organic ingredients—because homemade always tastes better! Ingredients 2 cups Biscuit & Baking Mix 2/3 cup vegan milk 2 tablespoons olive oil Preparation Step 1 Preheat oven to 450 °F with a pan or pizza stone in it (or heat a non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium heat). Step 2 Add Biscuit & Baking Mix to a medium bowl. Step 3 Whisk together vegan milk and olive oil . Step 4 Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients into the Biscuit & Baking Mix. *Add more milk or mix as necessary until you have a cohesive ball of dough. Step 5 Place dough on floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic and divide into 6 golf sized balls. Step 6 Flatten and roll out each dough ball until they are abou t 1/8" thick and round shape. Step 7 Cooking: Oven: Carefully place the tortilla on a pan or in a cast iron skillet in the preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes , flipping halfway, until lightly golden and cooked through. Skillet: Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Place the tortilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes , until bubbles begin to form. Use a spatula to lift the edge, flip the tortilla, and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. Step 8 Let cool completely on a paper towel and once cool, store in airtight container. Ingredients 1 cup of plant-based milk 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar 2 cups of Mix 1/2 cup of sugar (3/4 if you want them more sweet) 1/4 cup plant-based butter or coconut oil 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 heaping cup of strawberries diced or berry of choosing Optional: zest of 1 lemon Preparation Step 1 Preheat oven to 375°F and either oil or line muffin tin. Step 2 In a small bowl combine the plant-based milk and apple cider vinegar and set aside to curdle. Step 3 In a large bowl mix together the sugar, oil, vanilla extract and the milk and apple cider vinegar mixture. Step 4 Slowly add in the Mix and fold in the berries . Be careful not to over mix, lumps are expected! Step 5 Spook mixture into the prepared muffin cups, filling each to around 3/4 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Ingredients 2 cups Biscuit & Baking Mix Approximately 2 tsp of your favorite seasonings, such as onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, and parsley. 2 tablespoons ground flax seed 4 tablespoons oil (olive, coconut, vegan butter) 2/3 cup vegan milk or water Preparation Step 1 Preheat oven to 450 °F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper. Step 2 In a medium bowl, mix together Biscuit & Baking Mix, ground flax seed, and seasonings of your choice. Step 3 Add oil to the dry ingredients and mash together with back of fork until largest clumps are pea sized. Step 4 Slowly add vegan milk or water and mix until just moistened and a soft dough forms. Step 5 Transfer dough to a floured surface and gently fold it over itself several times. Step 6 Roll out dough or flatten with your hands until you have a rectangle approximately 1/4" thick and about the same size as your baking sheet. Step 7 Place dough rectangle onto parchment lined baking sheet, then score into cracker shapes with a pizza cutter. *Don't worry if you don't cut all the way through the dough. After cooking, the crackers will easily break apart. Step 8 Bake for 12 - 15 minutes , until golden brown on top. Step 3 Prepare the Filling: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat . Add the onion and sauté for about 5 minutes, until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute. * If you like your tofu a bit crispier you can pan fry it for a few minutes with the garlic and onions. Add the frozen vegetables, vegan milk, and vegetable stock. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Once simmering, stir in the tofu. Return to a simmer and let it cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Sprinkle in 4 tablespoons I nstant Baking Mix a nd stir well. Let it simmer for a few more minutes until the filling starts to thicken. Cover the skillet, remove it from the heat, and set aside. Step 4 Assemble the Pot Pie: Divide the dough into two portions: *Make one portion about 10% larger than the other (this will be the bottom crust). Roll out the larger dough ball into a 15-inch circle. Carefully place it into a 9-inch pie pan, letting the edges hang over slightly. Roll out the smaller dough ball into an 11-inch circle for the top crust. Pour the prepared filling into the pie pan, spreading it out evenly. Place the smaller dough circle on top. This melt-in-your-mouth pie shell is easy to prepare and adds a light, buttery texture to any filling, making it an ideal base for both sweet and savory pies Ingredients 1 1/2 cups Biscuit & Baking Mix 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 cup vegan butter, cold and cut into cubes 4 tablespoon ice water Preparation Step 1 Make sure your vegan butter is very cold . Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes before starting. Step 2 Add Biscuit & Baking Mix, sugar, and salt to a food processor or a large mixing bowl (if doing by hand). Pulse or whisk to mix. Step 3 Add cold butter: Food Processor: Add the cold vegan butter and pulse for about 10 seconds, until the mixture resembles small balls. By Hand: Add the cold butter to the bowl and use a pastry cutter or fork to cut it in until the mixture looks like small balls. Step 4 Slowly pour in the ice-cold water , adding more or less as needed until the dough begins to clump together. Step 5 Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and shape it into a ball, avoiding over-handling. Step 6 Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle and carefully transfer it to a pie plate, rolling it around a rolling pin if needed. Step 7 Gently press the dough into the pie plate (you can pinch the rim or use a fork to press down the edges). Trim the excess and repair edges as needed using water. Poke holes in the bottom using a fork to release steam so bubbling won't occur. Step 8 The pie crust is ready to use immediately, or you can freeze the dough for up to 3 months. Just wrap it well in plastic wrap, then place it in a freezer-safe bag or container. Thanks to our Biscuit & Baking Mix, they’re incredibly easy to make - just mix in the extras and enjoy a comforting bite of homemade gooey goodness in no time! Ingredients Biscuits (instructions on the back of package with some additions) 2 cups of Biscuit and Baking Mix 6 tablespoons of vegan butter or coconut oil 2/3 cup plant-based milk 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar (to form buttermilk) 1/4 cup of sugar 1. 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon 1/2 cup of raisins (pre-soaked in hot water and drained) Glaze 3/4 cop powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1-2 tablespoons of plant-based milk Preparation Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 450 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Step 2 To plump and soften the raisins, pour very hot or boiling water over your 1/2 cup of raisins and soak for 15 minutes then drain. Step 3 In a large bowl, combine the Mix, cinnamon , and sugar. Add the vinegar to the plant-based milk and set aside. Step 4 Add in the cut vegan butter or coconut oil and mash in with a back of a fork until the dough forms pea-sized clumps. Step 5 Slowly add in the plant-based buttermilk and fold in the soaked raisins until a ragged ball of dough is formed. Being careful not to overwork the dough. Step 6 Turn dough out on a floured surface and roll out with a rolling pin to around 3/4" thickness . Then using a medium biscuit cutter (or rim of glass) push down on the dough to cut biscuits out- avoid twisting biscuit cutter. Step 7 Place biscuits on your prepared parchment lined pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits are golden brown. Remove from oven and place biscuits on cooling rack. Step 8 While the biscuits are cooling, prepare glaze by combining powdered sugar, vanilla, and plant-based milk (1 tablespoon at a time) in a small bowl and whisk together until smooth and no lumps. *You can add more or less milk depending on the consistency you want for your glaze.
