About the Recipe

Rich, savory, and perfectly smooth, this vegan gravy is made with our Biscuit and Baking Mix for a deliciously comforting addition to any meal. Pour it over biscuits, mashed potatoes, or veggies for a flavorful, plant-friendly twist on classic gravy.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Biscuit & Baking Mix

  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 cups veggie broth

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan.


Step 2

Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture begins to simmer and becomes smooth.


Step 3

Lower the heat to low and let the gravy simmer, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired thickness.


Step 4

Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed for flavor.
