Compassionate Kitchen Biscuit Mix Crackers

About the Recipe

These crackers are as versatile as they are delicious! Our Biscuit Mix makes the crackers chewy and flaky with a slightly soft crumb. Try them dipped in hummus, served with soup, or topped with vegan cheese and sliced tomato.


  • 1/2 tsp each of: dill, oregano, garlic powder, parsley, thyme, white pepper

  • 2 tbsp ground Flaxseed

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil / vegan butter

  • 2/3 cup vegan milk


Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 450. Line a large sheet pan (16 x 22) with parchment paper. You may want to cut parchment paper to fit the pan - this will be helpful to guide the size when you roll out the dough.

Step 2

In a medium size bowl, mix together Compassionate Kitchen Baking Mix, ground flaxseed, and seasonings per recipe or your own seasoning mixture.

Step 3

Add extra virgin coconut oil / vegan butter to the dry ingredients and mash together with back of fork until largest clumps are pea-sized.

Step 4

Slowly add vegan milk and mix until just moistened and a soft dough forms.

Step 5

Transfer dough to a floured surface and gently fold it over itself several times.

Step 6

Roll out dough or flatten with your hands until you have a rectangle approximately 1/4" thick and about the same size as a sheet pan.

*You can check your dough shape by placing your cut out piece of parchement paper over the dough.

Step 7

Place dough rectangle onto parchment lined baking sheet. Score into cracker shapes with a pizza cutter.

*Don't worry if you don't cut all the way through the dough. After cooking, the crackers will easily break apart.

Step 7

Bake for 12 - 17 minutes, until golden brown on top.

Step 8

Let crackers cool, then break apart and store in an airtight container.
